Thank you for inquiring about the BlueWhaleCRM BETA Program. Our BETA Program has been designed to solicit user feedback on the features and functionality
of BlueWhaleCRM. The BETA of BlueWhaleCRM is for the upcoming release of BlueWhaleCRM 3.0. BlueWhaleCRM 3.0 is designed to run on the .NET 2.0 framework, incorporating
many of the new features such as ATLAS and AJAX technologies.
We anticipate releasing BETA-1 in mid-August. BETA-1 will primarily be a port to the .NET 2.0 framework with minor functionality changes. As we receive additional
feedback from the BETA users, we will be releasing additional BETA versions to incorporate requests for functionality and improvements. The goal of the program is to
bring our users a custom CRM solution without a custom price tag.
The following terms apply to the BlueWhaleCRM BETA program:
- The BETA program is FREE. You will be responsible for obtaining any 3rd party software licenses (Database, OS, etc...), but there are no costs involved for the BlueWhaleCRM software.
- The BETA software is NOT SUPPORTED. Any support provided for the BETA software
will be via the BlueWhaleCRM
forums. We will try to answer support questions in a reasonable timeframe,
but would appreciate other BETA users to help out when they see an opportunity.
We are trying to foster a BlueWhaleCRM user community. TechWhale provides
no guarantees of support and may not answer every question.
- No email or phone support will be provided. Please contact us via the forums
with any questions about the program or the software.
- BETA participants will be required to participate in surveys and forum communications.
The goal of the program is to use your feedback to build a better CRM. Non-compliance
will put you into an inactive status and will disqualify you from further participation
and promotions.
- You agree to all of the terms of this program as well as to all of the terms in
our BlueWhaleCRM Software License (found here).
Please note that terms for the program may change at any time. Please continue
to monitor our website and the BlueWhaleCRM forums for any notifications.
- Developer Licenses (Source Code) will not be offered for the BETA software.
At the conclusion of the program, we will resume offering our standard licensing
programs including the Developer License.
- At the conclusion of the BETA program, active participants
will receive a FREE, perpetual use, BlueWhaleCRM License package for up to
25 users.
